Help make music happen! Our committees bring families together to support BP music students throughout the year. Explore the opportunities below and contact a committee chair to get involved.
Celebrate regional marching bands by helping host the annual festival. Volunteers coordinate advertising, tickets, candygrams, the event program, and booths.
When: July through Band Festival Day
Volunteer needs: 4-5 Festival Captains and 35-40 volunteers on event day

The committee chair help's the president, officers, and executive board keep the organization's bylaws current and appropriate.
When: All year
Volunteer needs: The committee chair handles all responsibilities.

Support students at music events and Friday night marching band activities. The chairs maintain a list of paid booster members with current volunteer clearances.
When: August through marching band season, plus events throughout the year
Volunteer needs: Varies by event; visit the Volunteer tab to sign up.

Obtain, transport, store, set up, and take down equipment. Maintain the booster equipment inventory and coordinate with committee chairs, officers, and directors.
When: Primarily mid-August through marching band season, plus other events
Volunteer needs: Varies by event. Contact Melissa Smith about donating water or snacks for marching band students at football games.

Plan and run events such as music ensemble picnics and Electrify Your Strings, and organize refreshments for hoagie sales.
When: August throughout the year
Volunteer needs: Multiple volunteers for each event.

Fit students for performance attire, order supplies, maintain attire contracts, track payments, and coordinate event needs with officers and directors. Contact the chairs for Chamber, Symphonic Band, or Marching Band uniform alterations.
When: Mid-July through the end of the year
Volunteer needs: Varies, especially August through mid-September. Sewing skills are especially needed for the chair role.

Create and maintain signs for hoagie sales, festivals, and musicals; coordinate district publicity; and organize spirit nights with officers and directors. Businesses interested in hosting a spirit day can contact the chairs.
When: Mid-August through the end of the year

Manage inventory and sell BP Music merchandise at school-year events. Track and deposit payments, and coordinate with officers, committee chairs, directors, and vendors.
When: Mid-August through the end of the year
Volunteer needs: Friday night football games, Community Day, and other events as needed.
